DAY 1 - ANZAC Heritage Gallipoli Tour: Explore the Historic Peninsula (L)
Pick-up from your hotel in Sultanahmet between 06:30 and 07:00 (06:00 for hotels in the Taksim area). We depart for the Gallipoli Peninsula and Eceabat, the gateway to the historic battlefields. After lunch, begin your guided exploration of the ANZAC sector, following the route of the 1915 campaign.
Visit Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery and the ANZAC Commemorative Site. Continue to the Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, and Johnston's Jolly, where remnants of Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels provide a tangible connection to the battlefield.
The tour continues to the 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial, The Nek, and finally Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, one of the most significant sites of the ANZAC campaign.

DAY 2 - Helles Heritage Tour: Explore the Historic Battlefields (B)
After breakfast, continue your exploration of Gallipoli with a dedicated tour of the Helles sector, at the southern tip of the peninsula. Visit Namazgah Battery, Rumeli Mecidiye Battery, and the memorial dedicated to Seyit Onbasi (Corporal Seyit). Continue towards Alcitepe (Krithia) and the surrounding battlefields. The route then takes you to the French Cemetery, V Beach, Ertuğrul Battery, and the Helles Memorial, which commemorates Commonwealth servicemen who died during the Gallipoli campaign and have no known grave.
Continue along the historic landing areas to Lancashire Landing Cemetery, X Beach, and Twelve Trees Copse Cemetery, gaining a broader understanding of the battles fought in the Helles sector.
The Helles tour finishes around midday, leaving you with free time before your return journey to Istanbul.
Depart from Eceabat in the afternoon and arrive back at your Istanbul hotel in the evening.

V Beach is located at the tip of the Gallipoli Peninsula at Cape Helles. It lies at the foot of a natural amphitheatre which rises by gentle slopes to a height of a hundred feet. The actual beach is a sandy strip some 10 yards wide and 300 yards long, bordered in most places by a low bank about 5 feet high.
X Beach was approximately a mile north along the Aegean coast from Tekke Burnu Point. This beach was regarded as the most successful of the landings and it has often been referred to as 'Implacable Landing'.
Twelve Tree Copse Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery containing the remains of Allied troops who died during the Gallipoli campaign. It is located about one kilometer south-west of Krithia on the Gallipoli Peninsula. It also contains the Twelve Tree Copse (New Zealand) Memorial, one of four memorials on the peninsula which commemorate New Zealand soldiers killed at Gallipoli but whose graves are unknown.
ANZAC Cove is the historic landing site where the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) came ashore on 25 April 1915, marking the beginning of the Gallipoli Campaign. Overlooking the beach is the famous Atatürk Memorial, featuring Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's heartfelt tribute to the mothers of the fallen Allied soldiers, symbolizing peace, respect, and reconciliation between nations.
Chunuk Bair is one of the highest and most significant points on the Gallipoli Peninsula. In August 1915, New Zealand forces captured the summit during one of the campaign's fiercest battles. Today, the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial honors the soldiers who fought and lost their lives in this historic battle.
Johnston's Jolly was one of the most heavily contested positions during the Gallipoli Campaign. Visitors can still see the remarkably preserved Turkish and Allied trenches, offering a unique insight into the close-quarters fighting. The cemetery commemorates soldiers who lost their lives during the campaign, including members of both the Australian and New Zealand forces.
Lone Pine Cemetery & Memorial named after the solitary pine tree that once stood on the battlefield, Lone Pine Cemetery is the final resting place of more than 1,000 soldiers, many of them Australian. The nearby Lone Pine Memorial is one of the five major ANZAC memorials on the Gallipoli Peninsula and commemorates thousands of Australian soldiers with no known grave.
