After exploring the Helles battlefields, leave the events of 1915 behind and travel to the ancient world of Troy.

Destroyed and rebuilt many times throughout history, the site reveals thousands of years of civilization through its remarkable archaeological remains. Today, Troy is proudly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.V Beach is located at the tip of the Gallipoli Peninsula at Cape Helles. It lies at the foot of a natural amphitheatre which rises by gentle slopes to a height of a hundred feet. The actual beach is a sandy strip some 10 yards wide and 300 yards long, bordered in most places by a low bank about 5 feet high.
X Beach was approximately a mile north along the Aegean coast from Tekke Burnu Point. This beach was regarded as the most successful of the landings and it has often been referred to as 'Implacable Landing'.
Twelve Tree Copse Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery containing the remains of Allied troops who died during the Gallipoli campaign. It is located about one kilometer south-west of Krithia on the Gallipoli Peninsula. It also contains the Twelve Tree Copse (New Zealand) Memorial, one of four memorials on the peninsula which commemorate New Zealand soldiers killed at Gallipoli but whose graves are unknown.
ANZAC Cove is the historic landing site where the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) came ashore on 25 April 1915, marking the beginning of the Gallipoli Campaign. Overlooking the beach is the famous Ataturk Memorial, featuring Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's heartfelt tribute to the mothers of the fallen Allied soldiers, symbolizing peace, respect, and reconciliation between nations.Chunuk Bair is one of the highest and most significant points on the Gallipoli Peninsula. In August 1915, New Zealand forces captured the summit during one of the campaign's fiercest battles. Today, the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial honors the soldiers who fought and lost their lives in this historic battle.Johnston's Jolly was one of the most heavily contested positions during the Gallipoli Campaign.
