ANZAC DAY DAWN SERVICE TOUR FROM ISTANBUL

This special overnight tour from Istanbul gives you the opportunity to attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service on the Gallipoli Peninsula on 25 April. Travel to Gallipoli on 24 April, join the overnight convoy to the Dawn Service area, attend the moving commemorative services and visit important memorial sites including Lone Pine Australian Memorial and the New Zealand Memorial.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 – ISTANBUL – GALLIPOLI – 24 APRIL
We depart from Istanbul at approximately 11:00 AM and travel towards the Gallipoli Peninsula.
During the journey, we make a stop where you can purchase snacks and refreshments for the evening.
We arrive in Eceabat at approximately 4:30 PM. After arrival, you will have time to collect some local Gallipoli specialties and homemade pie before joining the convoy to the Dawn Service area.
The evening is spent at the Gallipoli Peninsula as we prepare for the ANZAC Day commemorations.
DAY 2 – ANZAC DAY DAWN SERVICE – 25 APRIL
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service begins early in the morning as the sun rises over the Gallipoli Peninsula.
After the Dawn Service, there is time to walk around the area with your guide and explore the historic ridges and old trenches.
A breakfast pack will be provided.
Later in the morning, the commemorative services continue at:

• New Zealand Memorial – New Zealand Service
After the commemorations, we return to Eceabat for lunch at approximately 2:00 PM.
Following lunch, we depart for Istanbul in the late afternoon.
Arrival in Istanbul marks the end of our service.
